Started your day depressed? How to feel better in 60minutes.
There are days that I have gotten up in a bad mood, or alternatively, I started a nice day and then someone made me very upset or even mad. It may have been my boss at work, my husband or just the kids driving me crazy (which happens almost every day😊) .
For these kind of days I have a therapy that moves me from feeling like a total nobody to queen of the house that is unstoppable.
What is my magic potion you might ask? Music and a good workout.
I have found that the best way to make me feel better is putting on some music and moving…
Not always do I have the privilege to just leave the house and go work out, especially during this last year…so I have 2 options:
1. Workout with the kids. We either do "Tabata" or just dance with fun music and get all our energy and frustration out! So in the end it is good for all of us!
2. Take one of my playlists and go running or do Pilates in the house.
I have found that my best work outs were when I was upset or mad about something…Instead if feeling down and eating the entire refrigerator I take out all my rage on my work out.
This is no secret of course-when you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins which trigger a positive feeling in the body, similar to that of morphine. For example, the feeling that follows a run or workout is often described as "euphoric." That feeling, known as a "runner's high," can be accompanied by a positive and energizing outlook on life.

So after a good workout and a nice relaxing shower get ready to feel like a queen who is ready to conquer the world…or at least your house.
